Site Rules
The following are a list of things not tolerated on TheBoxHeads.net site (in the Forums and in Private Messages) and will be punished via the guidelines below.
1. Spamming - making a post to a thread that is intended to disrupt it. Purposefully changing the subject of a thread in a malicious manner will not be tolerated.
2. Trolling - posting with the intent to start a fight or cause drama.
3. Personal Attacks - any sort of verbal attack or talk of harming someone will be dealt with VERY STRICTLY.
4. Arguing - continued bickering amongst two people NEVER needs to occur in a thread, that is what the Personal Message part of this site is for, use it! However, we understand that arguments can be a normal way of discussing a topic.
Please don't get upset if a mod splits a thread to clean it up and get it back on topic. We are just trying to keep things clean. Most importantly if a mod asks you to stop doing something please listen to them otherwise you may end up experiencing the following consequences:
FIRST OFFENSE – A warning. You’re now being watched.
SECOND OFFENSE – A second warning. You’re now being intensely watched.
THIRD OFFENSE – Probation. You will not be able to post in the forums for a period of 1 day.
FOURTH OFFENSE – Further probation. You will not be able to post in the forums for a period of 3 days.
FIFTH OFFENSE – If you make it this far, you no longer deserve to be here. All posting privileges are revoked, as you’ve now earned a full ban.
Warnings will last for one month and will be tracked by mods/admins.
Admins/mods have the ability to escalate any of the warnings to which ever level they deem worthy based on the offense (which may be later appealed based on discussion among the mods).
